MUMBAI: Online media agency Quasar Media has started operations in Mumbai. The company is eight months old.

It is a part of StudioSmile, a seven-year old internet technology company, and is headed by Manish Vij. Quasar Media's clients include Microsoft, MakeMyTrip.com, Monster.com, LG and Kingfisher Airlines.

 
StudioSmile CEO Harish Bahl said, “We had, over last seven years of our existence, built a very strong team, technology and expertise on this medium to provide end to end solutions to our clients. We believe this is an ideal time for us to make out move in Mumbai too, where we expect to duplicate the Delhi level of success soon.”

 
Vij said, “I would like to thank the Quasar team and partners for the trust, passion and confidence they have shown which is responsible to this growth of Quasar Media. Quasar Media should do a business of Rs. 20 Crores for the financial year 2005-06”

Bijoya Ghosh who comes with over 10 years of experience in Media sales will drive the regional growth for the company in West. Quasar CTO , CP Singh said, “Besides having proprietary technology for ad serving, campaign tracking and ROI measurement tools we are working on building online advertising products that will help even small budget advertisers to benefit from online advertising”.
