O&M campaign gets selected for Commarts annual

NEW DELHI: Ogilvy & Mather (O&M) India has added another prestigious award in its roster this year.

O&M Delhi office's campaign for Human Organ Procurement and Education Trust (HOPE) has been selected by US-based Communication Arts jury to appear in its design annual in November issue this year.

A communiqué from Communication Arts received by O&M Delhi office confirmed the development on Wednesday. The HOPE campaign was also nominated for the One Show in `poster and outdoor' category earlier this year.

The campaign blends the message of organ donation with communal harmony. "Donated organs don't see race, religion, age or sex," is the message from the campaign. The development brings more cheer to the O&M Delhi office as the 'blank magazine' mailer for business magazine Businessworld was awarded a `Gold Lion' earlier this year.

Confirming the development, O&M creative director V. Sunil, said, "It feels great. After getting nominated for One Show, the HOPE campaign has been selected by Communication Arts, in which there is no nomination or shortlist. If a campaign is selected, it equivalent to receiving an award. It's much more prestigious as it's a very small book (in terms of campaigns selected)."

"We (the entire team) have been doing some great work here. It (recognition) definitely keeps the spirit of the entire team high," added an ecstatic Sunil.

Founded in 1959, Communication Arts is the leading trade journal for visual communications and it is owned by Coyne & Blanchard, Inc. Besides, design annual, the other categories include illustration annual, photography annual and interactive design annual.
