Northpoint offers programme in advertising and marketing communications

MUMBAI: The Northpoint Centre of Learning in Maharashtra's Khandala district has announced a full time post graduate programme in advertising and marketing communications

The programme is aimed at developing entry level managers in advertising and marketing communications through a combination of intensive theory and extensive on- the - job work experience, on live assignments.

The classroom sessions will be conducted at the facilities at the Northpoint Campus. The practical modules that will follow each theory session will take the form of continuing live projects on blue chip clients, within the offices of Lintas.

Lintas Integrated Marketing Action Group director Ashish Bhasin says, "The faculty team is drawn from the country's best practitioners of advertising and marketing communications. Market stints, rural exposure, and secondments to advertising, integrated communications, media and marketing companies will form an intrinsic part of the course."

Structured as an 18 month programme, the course commences on 23 May 2005. The program is open to all first class graduates from the humanities, commerce, economics, mathematics, statistics, communications or management streams. Relevant work experience, though not essential, will be an added qualification.
