MUMBAI: Massive Incorporated, the world's first and only video game network has roped in MTV Networks senior vice president ad sales Nicholas Loria as executive vice president ad sales.

Loria will be responsible for all advertising strategy as well as domestic and international sales efforts that establish Massive as a leading media solution for advertisers focused on reaching the young male demographic.

"With the continued dominance of video games as the entertainment medium of choice for the male 18-34 year-old demographic at the expense of television viewership, advertisers are looking for new alternatives that reach this audience and provide new levels of accountability," said Massive Incorporated CEO Mitch Davis.

"Nick's years of experience selling broadcast and cable advertising is an extraordinary asset for us as we continue to build out a network for marketers looking to engage these hard-to-reach consumers in a meaningful, immersive way," he added.

At MTV Networks, Loria was responsible for all advertising sales for the MTV Group which included MTV, MTV2, MTVU and MTV.com.

Previous to MTV, he was senior vice president of North America sales for Turner International, which included CNN and the Cartoon Network in Europe, Asia and Latin America. In these positions, he was responsible for ad sales revenue, strategy and business development and sales staff management for all domestic offices.

Nick started his career at CBS where he assisted in focus group research for Children's programming and later in the print production department for CBS Television.
