MUMBAI: Madan Mohapatra, who recently quit Universal McCann, is all set to join OMS as head of the Delhi office.
Confirming the development to Indiantelevision.com, OMS president Sandeep Viz said that Mohapatra will be stepping into his new shoes towards the end of February.
As a direct result of Mohapatra's appointment, OMS Delhi regional director Kajal Thakur has been transferred to OMS Bangalore, where she will be looking after new initiatives.

Mohapatra was, however unavailable for comment.

The news of Mohapatra's new posting comes close on the heels of Starcom's Gautam Rajgopal joining Optimum Media Solutions (OMS) as national buying head.

At Universal McCann, Mohapatra was business director handling the Nestle and L'oreal accounts. He joined Universal McCann in November last year from The Media Edge, where he was media director. Before TME, Mohapatra was with Starcom Worldwide for three years as associate media director - in charge of broadcast.
