Indiatimes' Madan joins Mauj as AVP business development

MUMBAI: Indiatimes' chief manager of 8888 services Kavi Madan has joined Mauj as assistant vice president business development. Madan will be driving the Mauj business for North India and will be based in Delhi.

He will be reporting to Mauj regional head India and far East Dippak Khurana.

 
 
Commenting on his new role Madan said, "I am extremely pleased to join forces with Mauj, which is the leading mobile entertainment and gaming company in India. Within two years, Mauj has seen tremendous growth in SMS, GPRS and gaming business and the management is lead by the pioneers of the Internet and mobile value added services business in the country. It’s a great privilege to be part of this management."
 
 
Khurana, on the other hand said, "Kavi has extensive experience and understanding of the new economy business including Internet and wireless. He will be a fantastic asset as part of Mauj's management team. Kavi will be handling all the key strategic initiatives of the company in North India."
 
 
Madan was with Indiatimes' E-commerce and telecom division for four years. Prior to that, he has had an extensive stint with India Today.
