Former McCann hand Hanmer joins Law & Kenneth Worldwide

MUMBAI: Former McCann Erickson Worldwide senior vice president, (Asia-Pacific) Tony Hanmer has joined the board of Law & Kenneth Worldwide.
 

 
Hanmer has over 25 years leadership experience and a strong track record of company management, acquisitions and leveraging new technologies to build profitable organisations across Europe, Australia and Asia Pacific.
 
 
Law & Kenneth Worldwide co-chairman and managing director Praveen Kenneth says, "Tony Hanmer brings to the network immense working knowledge in Asia-Pacific and Central Europe with expertise in acquisitions and outstanding relationships with global clients. He will be working closely with us in leveraging and building the offering of Law & Kenneth in these two regions in the coming future."
 
 
Hanmer was appointed managing director of McCann Erickson Sydney in 1991 and subsequently chairman of Australian operations in 1993. From there, he moved to be the member of the worldwide board with the responsibility for the performance of 29 offices in 17 countries, which included India.

The role included responsibility for financial, creative and corporate performance, as well as maintaining close relationships with International "club" business, such as, Coca Cola, General Motors, Nestlé, Johnson & Johnson, L'Oreal, Unilever, Levis, Ferrerro, and Cathay Pacific. During this time substantial acquisitions were made throughout Asia, building McCann to be the world's largest global communications company with sales in excess of $2 billion.

Hanmer is also on the board of I-View Broadcasting and the chairman of the Endeavor Foundation and Techstar.
