Gujarat HC issues notice to TRAI over MSO-LCO profit sharing

The Gujarat High Court issued a notice to the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) and the centre on 1 February 2019, over a petition filed by local cable operators (LCOs) challenging the decision to fix the ratio of profit sharing between LCOs and multi-system operators (MSOs).

Calcutta HC vacates stay on TRAI tariff order, hands LCOs time till 8 February

In a major development, the Calcutta High Court, which has jurisdiction over West Bengal and the Union Territory of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, on Thursday vacated the stay imposed by it on the implementation of the tariff order till February 18.
