    Mumbai :India‘s most talented kids shone in Mumbai on Saturday at the eighth annual POGO Amazing Kids Awards 2011, India‘s first kids‘ television awards ceremony.

    Kids‘ favourite superhero -Chhota Bheem made a surprise performance at the event and the winners were felicitated by Monica Tata, General Manager, Entertainment Networks, South Asia, Turner International India.

    A POGO original production, POGO Amazing Kids Awards 2011 upheld the channel‘s tradition of discovering, recognizing and celebrating, the amazingly talented kids across India.

    It was no easy feat to select one winner from hundreds of candidates across India. Taking up this immense responsibility was a panel of eminent experts within each field. Icon Ayaz Memon judged the sports category, Ashley Lobo judged the dance category, Sukhwinder Singh judged the singing and musician category, Tathagat Tulsi judged the genius category and Vaibhav Kumaresh judged the artist category. The leader category was judged by Monica Tata and the entertainer category was judged by Rick Fernandes, Executive Director, Original Production & Development, Turner Broadcasting Systems, Asia Pacific.

    At the event, Monica Tata, General Manager, Entertainment Networks, South Asia, Turner International India Pvt. Ltd., said, "We are extremely excited and proud to announce the winners of the coveted POGO Amazing Kids Awards 2011. At POGO, we take great initiative in discovering and felicitating India‘s most talented kids.
