Red Herrings puts Indiagames in top 100 list

MUMBAI: Indiagames Ltd has been listed by Red Herrings among the top 100 private companies in Asia. The company, which is a global mobile content publisher, is engaged in publishing and developing games across various platforms like Internet, PC, broadband, mobile phones, PDAs, handheld gaming devices and consoles.

Indiagames was selected by Red Herring from more than five hundred submissions received from companies throughout Greater Asia. These companies were awarded a place in the listings after evaluating their business models, analysing profitability forecasts, assessing management teams and examining technology, states an official release.

"We at Indiagames have always focused on providing quality mobile entertainment that are universally appealing across all age groups. We are extremely happy to have been selected among the top technology companies in Asia. We consider this as an endorsement of our efforts to be the leading gaming company in India. This is highly motivating for all of us." Said Indiagames CEO Vishal Gondal.

Earlier Universal Pictures had selected Indiagames to develop mobile content applications for their upcoming movie 'Serenity'. Also Indiagames had recently announced the expansion of its European operations with the appointment of Steve Gordon (Ex- Vodafone) as Director, Sales and Marketing - Europe, the release adds.

The due diligence process was very stringent and after the evaluation the companies on all objectives, 100 companies were chosen as the rising stars in the Asian markets. The winners will be felicitated in grand fashion at the Red Herrings 100 Asia Night on 5 September in Shanghai.
