BBC World News and BBC.com launch a new series of CEO Guru

NEW DELHI: The second series of CEO Guru, eight short form video reports that will see management coach and author Steve Tappin talk to an array of top business leaders about their values, dreams and how they hope to lead their companies to success in the 21st century, is commencing on BBC World News and BBC.com.

CEO Guru will broadcast every Friday for on BBC World News, on bbc.com/ceoguru and on the website?s new Entrepreneurship hub, bbc.com/entrepreneurship.

As a ?CEO confidant? for the heads of some of the world?s biggest companies, Steve Tappin will dig deep into a series of topics that will question what challenges business leaders face, how they foster a sense of community amongst thousands of employees and how they ensure they steer their enterprises in the right direction.

Executives to be featured in the new series include: Jeffrey Immelt, chief executive of US based conglomerate General Electric; Frits van Paasschen, president and CEO of Starwood Hotels & Resorts; Joseph Chen, founder of Renren, one of China?s largest social networking services; Walter Robb, co-CEO of Whole Foods Market; and Martin Gilbert, CEO of Aberdeen Asset Management, a global investment management group.

Management coach and author Steve Tappin will talk to these guests about their values, dreams and how they hope to lead their companies to success in the 21st century.

Tappin, who coaches the chief executives of many large companies, says only a small percentage of his clients have taken the plunge into the world of Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn.
