9XO to bring in 2013 with a marathon music session

MUMBAI: 9X Media?s international music channel 9XO is airing a marathon music session called 9XO 12-O-thon.

The special program which kicked off on 20 December will go on till 1 January and will feature the top rated international artists and their music from the year 2012.

The 9XO 12-O-Thon music session will present songs from 12 categories including pop, dance, rock, Indian, collaboration, out there, quirky, debuts, legends, male, female and hip-hop, featuring international artists such as Rihanna, Bieber, Psy, Aerosmith, Goddess Gagged, Bob Dylan, Taylor Swift, Chris Brown and Swedish House Mafia. The channel will air a new category everyday with top 12 songs in each category.

XO 12-O-thon will culminate with a finale on 31 December with all categories played from 12 noon to 12 midnight bringing in the new year.

This first-of-its-kind marathon music session on Indian television will commemorate the best international artists and music of 2012. A special webpage has been created on the 9XO website to promote the 9XO 12-O-thon property which offers genre wise video playlist. The featured playlist of the day has also been added to this webpage and to 9XO?s Facebook Page for the duration of the property?s airing.
