MUMBAI: This March, HBO Blockbuster of the Month returns with Collateral. In addition to the daily dose of some of the most popular Hollywood titles, HBO brings a salute to the Academy Awards winners, a special Holi treat and a brand new premiere every Saturday night on HBO Saturday Nights.

Through exclusive licensing deals with four major Hollywood studios - Paramount, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Universal and Warner Bros -HBO brings the best of Hollywood by premiering the top blockbuster movies on television first in South Asia.

Prime time viewing on HBO includes HBO Blockbuster Of The Month, a special television event that premieres a mega blockbuster movie every month, HBO Saturday Nights, which premieres a new box office hit each week throughout the year; HBO Sunday Super Hits, which showcases the blockbuster hits, star-studded hits, favourite genre hits, Asian hits and highly acclaimed hits.

In addition, HBO features at least 3 to 4 new movie showcases every month to offer viewers an interesting mix of Hollywood movies based on exciting themes.

Also, catch one of the most impressive Oscar line ups on TV as HBO presents With Honors: HBO's Academy Awards Salute every Monday and Tuesday night at 9 pm featuring some of the most popular Oscar winners such as The Nutty Professor, The Matrix, Lost in Translation, The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, Spiderman 2, Shakespeare in Love, among others.

HBO adds colour to Holi with back to back hits on Wednesday, 15 March starting with the sci-fi fantasy The Chronicles of Riddick at 11.30 am followed by the suspense thriller Dreamcatcher at 2 pm. Catch comedies S1m0ne and 50 First Dates at 4.45 pm and 7.00 pm, respectively and the action adventure Godzilla at 9 pm.

This month HBO Saturday Nights at 9 pm is all spiced up with an eclectic mix of drama, romance and comedy. Catch the premiere of the comedy The Big Bounce on 4 March. Here, con artist and surfer dude Jack Ryan (Owen Wilson) goes to Hawaii in an attempt to change his life, meets the beautiful Nancy (Sara Foster), falls in love only to find out that she is the girlfriend of the dangerous Ray Ritchie (Gary Sinise), a wealthy land developer who's out to spoil the Hawaiian coastline with tourist trap hotels.

The multi Academy Award winning Mystic River makes its debut on the small screen on 11 March. A tragic event - the murder of reformed hoodlum Jimmy's (Sean Penn) teenage daughter, Katie (Emmy Rossum), throws the town of Mystic River into turmoil. With Jimmy raging and crying out for revenge, police officer Sean (Kevin Bacon), and his partner (Laurence Fishburne), must find out who killed Jimmy's daughter. Celeste Boyle (Marcia Gay Harden), now married to the moody Dave (Tim Robbins), thinks her husband may be the killer. As the search for the killer nears its twisted end, the three friends are forced to look back to that fateful day when they lost their innocence.

Expect loads of excitement and adrenaline-charged races on 18 March at 9 pm with the premiere of Torque. Biker Cary Ford (Martin Henderson) trying to clear his name of a wrongful drug charge, and the FBI is hot on his heels. Things take a turn for the worse when he is accused of killing the brother of rival biker gang leader Trey (Ice Cube). He and his girlfriend, Shane (Monet Mazur), race against time to clear his name before Trey and his gang close in on him in this biker movie.

Watch Jamie Foxx in his Academy Award, Golden Globe and BAFTA winning performance as legendary soul singer Ray Charles in Ray premiering on 25 March at 9 pm. Growing up poor, black, and blind in the rural south, Charles learns - under the tutelage of his tough-love mother - to turn these handicaps into assets. With this training, Ray eventually plays his way into a major deal with Paramount records and earns icon status as an American legend. Along the way, the high cost of fame leads him to engage in abusive relationships, manipulative behavior, and struggles with drug and alcohol problems.

HBO's extraordinary, dramatic series Rome continues with brand new episodes every Monday night in March right after the 9 pm movie.

The HBO Original movie of the month is Everyday People premiering on7 March at 7.15 pm. It tells the story of a day in the life of a group of hard-working New Yorkers. Starring Stephen Henderson, Jordan Gelber and Ron Butler, this group of people learn that life must go on and that it has to be lived with dignity.

Every Sunday night at 8 pm HBO promises to deliver a superhit with Sunday Superhits featuring Dreamcatcher, The Long Kiss Goodnight, Lethal Weapon 2 and Once Upon A Time In Mexico.
HBO's Friday Blockbusters at 9 pm will feature Bad Boys 2, Twister, The Mask of Zorro and Payback.

In Collateral, Tom Cruise plays a white haired contract killer who hijacks Jamie Foxx's taxi and forces him to drive to assigned destinations through the night when a drug cartel learns of an impending indictment and mounts a mission to kill all the key witnesses. The movie premiers on 24 March at 9:00 pm.
