The broadcast and cable regulator, Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Trai) has said that it is yet to take a view on Indian pubcaster Prasar Bharati's plea that it should be given preferential treatment while granting terrestrial telecast right of important events, especially sports.

Pak may beam Indian channels again
Two weeks after I&B minister RS Prasad exhorted Pakistan to allow the return of Indian satellite channels into its airwaves, come reports that the country is poised to lift the ban on Indian TV channels.
