Radio Audience Measurement (RAM), launched by TAM Media Research in 2007 for the radio Industry.

Govt not to renew licence of TV channels who violate content code
Indian govt will not renew licence of TV channels which violate the Programme and Advertisement Code on five occasions or more.

Govt stiffens entry norms for new TV channels
Net worth norms have been made tougher; for news and current affairs channels, the net worth criteria has been revised upwards, climbing almost seven times from Rs30mn to Rs200mn for the first channel and Rs50mn for each additional channel.


Disney to take full control of Indiagames
UTV inks deal with founder promoters and employee shareholders of Indiagames to acquire further 30.02% for a purchase consideration of Rs945.6mn; Disney is in process of owning 100 % of UTV.
