Trai caps TV ad breaks at 12 minutes per hour

Minimum time gap between two consecutive ad breaks not to be less than 15 minutes while in case of movies it is 30 minutes; ads during live broadcast of sporting event can be only during breaks in sporting action.

Consumer redressal cells have to act within 8 hours for DAS services: Trai

MSO or LCO will have to set up a complaint centre which will be active from 8 am to midnight, says Trai in its QoS regulations for DAS services; centre to have facilities in Hindi, English and local language of the area.
