MUMBAI: Pride of Cows is giving its old dairy codes the cold shoulder, swapping the familiar cow centric imagery for a more expansive farm story as it unveils a new brand identity.

Owned by Parag Milk Foods, the premium dairy brand is refreshing its visual and communication identity as it seeks to strengthen its farm to home and single origin positioning while giving the brand a younger and more contemporary expression.

The repositioning broadens Pride of Cows’ narrative beyond milk and conventional dairy cues, bringing nourishment, wellbeing, nature and intentional living into the conversation. At the centre of the new identity is an egret found around the Pride of Cows farm, chosen to represent the wider ecosystem surrounding the herd rather than relying solely on the cow as a visual shorthand for dairy.

The refresh comes as the brand continues to sit within Parag Milk Foods’ New Age Businesses, alongside Avvatar. According to the company, these businesses grew 91 per cent year on year in FY2026 and contributed 10 per cent of its overall turnover. The combined business also crossed Rs 100 crore in quarterly revenue, with premium dairy, protein and nutrition led categories identified as growth areas.

While the look is changing, the fundamentals of Pride of Cows’ proposition remain tied to its farm, herd and single origin model. The brand’s positioning centres on milk originating from a single farm, keeping origin and control of the production ecosystem at the heart of its premium pitch.

The new identity has been developed with Pollinate and extends beyond a logo or packaging treatment, covering typography, illustration, motion and sound. The creative work includes contributions from Marta Cerdà Alimbau, Daria Lada, Emanuele Colombo and Naren Chandavarkar.

For Parag Milk Foods, the exercise is also part of a wider push around its newer businesses as consumer interest expands from traditional dairy towards premium nutrition and wellness led offerings.

The company operates dairy manufacturing facilities in Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh, with a portfolio spanning Gowardhan, Go, Pride of Cows and Avvatar. The brand refresh therefore arrives with Pride of Cows attempting to stretch its appeal beyond being simply another premium milk label, while keeping the farm that started the story firmly in the picture.
