Kketan Chopra promoted to senior vice president – WPP Commerce
Chopra takes on expanded role after leading commerce operations across key regions
Mumbai: Kketan Chopra has been promoted to senior vice president, WPP Commerce, at WPP Media, marking the next step in his career spanning commerce, ecommerce and digital marketing.
Chopra shared the development on LinkedIn, saying he would take on greater responsibilities, with a focus on driving stronger commerce outcomes, building high-performing teams and creating business impact for clients.
He most recently served as head north | west | east commerce lead at WPP Media, a role he held from May 2025 to July 2026. During this period, he worked across marketplace, retail media and omnichannel commerce businesses, managing a commerce portfolio exceeding Rs 200 crore.
In his new role, Chopra will continue to focus on commerce-led growth, with experience spanning ecommerce strategy, P&L management, commerce automation, retail media and integrated commerce solutions.
Before taking on the regional commerce leadership role, Chopra was north and east ecommerce lead at WPP Media from September 2022 to April 2025. He was responsible for the ecommerce P&L for the two regions and helped build a portfolio exceeding Rs 100 crore.
During his tenure, he also worked on ecommerce strategy for Mindshare India and collaborated with brands including PepsiCo, Noise and Aditya Birla Group.
Chopra joined WPP Media after nearly two years at Jagat Pharma, where he served as group head, digital and ecommerce marketing. He had earlier held digital and ecommerce leadership roles at Jiva Ayurveda, Livpure and Intex Technologies.
His experience spans direct-to-consumer businesses, marketplaces, performance marketing, retail media, digital transformation and ecommerce operations. At Jiva Ayurveda, he helped scale the brand’s e-store and Amazon business fourfold, while at Livpure he worked across digital acquisition, ecommerce and performance marketing.
The promotion comes as commerce continues to become a larger part of media and marketing strategies, with brands increasingly linking advertising, marketplaces, retail media and conversion. Chopra’s expanded remit places his experience across these areas at the centre of WPP Commerce’s growth agenda.
