MUMBAI: Luxury hospitality brand JW Marriott has unveiled a new campaign film featuring global brand ambassador Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, inviting travellers to slow down, reconnect with loved ones and find meaning in the moments that often pass unnoticed.

Part of Marriott Bonvoy’s portfolio of more than 30 brands, JW Marriott has built the campaign around its global ‘Stay in the Moment’ philosophy, which places presence, connection and personal well-being at the heart of the guest experience.

Shot at JW Marriott Juhu in Mumbai, the film opens with the question, “What makes a moment a moment?” It follows Rai Bachchan through a series of intimate experiences, from sharing a meal and raising a toast to discovering something new and joining a wedding celebration surrounded by family and friends.

The narrative builds towards the closing thought, “What makes a moment a moment is when you stay in it,” reinforcing the brand’s belief that meaningful experiences emerge when people give their full attention to the present.

The film builds on JW Marriott’s collaboration with Rai Bachchan, announced in June, and positions the campaign around a growing luxury travel proposition: experiences that offer opportunities to pause, reconnect and prioritise well-being.

That proposition is gaining traction among affluent travellers. A 2025 study by The Luxury Group by Marriott International found that 90 per cent of affluent Asia-Pacific travellers considered wellness experiences an important factor in their booking decisions, up from 80 per cent in the previous year.

With ‘Stay in the Moment’, JW Marriott is seeking to connect luxury with something less tangible than amenities or indulgence: the value of being fully present. By placing Rai Bachchan in familiar, emotionally resonant settings, the campaign makes that promise less about escaping everyday life and more about experiencing it with greater attention.
