Honda prices XR300 L and XR300 Rally in India, opens nationwide bookings
The new adventure motorcycles start at Rs 1.83 lakh, with deliveries through BigWing
MUMBAI: Honda is taking the road less travelled, with a price tag attached. Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has announced prices for its new Honda XR300 L and Honda XR300 Rally adventure motorcycles, with bookings now open across India.
The Honda XR300 L is priced at Rs 1,83,000, while the Honda XR300 Rally costs Rs 2,08,000. Both prices are ex-showroom Bengaluru and are effective from 5 October 2026.
The two motorcycles, unveiled as part of HMSI’s expanded 10-product portfolio in July, will be sold exclusively through authorised Honda BigWing dealerships across the country. Bookings are now open for Rs 5,000 through the HMSI website and the Honda BigWing dealer network.
The launch strengthens Honda’s adventure motorcycle line-up in India and forms part of its Make-in-India for the World strategy. The two models are aimed at riders looking for a mix of everyday usability, off-road capability and longer-distance touring.
The Honda XR300 L is positioned as the more everyday-focused option of the two motorcycles. It is designed to handle city riding while also offering the agility needed for trails and uneven terrain, including mud, gravel, sand and rocky surfaces.
The motorcycle is powered by a 293.5cc air-cooled engine with an oil cooler and gets Honda Selectable Torque Control, Pro-Link rear suspension and front and rear disc brakes.
Safety and riding features include switchable dual-channel ABS and an Assist Slipper Clutch. The XR300 L will be offered in Extreme Red and Shasta White.
The Honda XR300 Rally draws more directly from Honda’s rally heritage and is aimed at riders looking for longer-distance touring and mixed-terrain capability.
Alongside the 293.5cc air-cooled engine with an oil cooler, the motorcycle gets a TFT meter with Honda RoadSync, Honda Selectable Torque Control and Pro-Link rear suspension.
It also features front and rear disc brakes, switchable dual-channel ABS and an Assist Slipper Clutch. The XR300 Rally will be available in Extreme Red and True Black.
The Rally version adds touring-focused comfort and wind protection to its rally-inspired design, giving riders a motorcycle designed for journeys that move between highways, city roads and off-road stretches.

The company is looking to cover a wider range of use cases, from daily commuting and weekend trails to long-distance touring and mixed-terrain exploration.
With bookings now open nationwide, the XR300 L and XR300 Rally give Honda BigWing customers two new options at different ends of the adventure-riding spectrum, with the XR300 L leaning towards everyday versatility and the XR300 Rally aimed more squarely at touring and long-distance exploration.
