MONACO: Fast laps may soon fuel faster algorithms. Eros Innovation and Envision Racing have signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MoU) to explore collaborations across artificial intelligence, sustainability, culture and performance technology.

Signed in Monaco, the agreement brings together Envision Racing’s expertise in high-performance electric motorsport and sustainable innovation with Eros Innovation’s AI infrastructure, cultural intelligence models and data platforms. The companies said the partnership is intended to create opportunities that extend beyond racing and entertainment into broader technology and sustainability applications.

One of the key focus areas will be adapting technologies developed in elite electric motorsport to strengthen Eros Innovation’s AI models. The companies also plan to explore how data, performance analytics and real-time decision-making systems used on the racetrack can be applied to wider AI use cases.

The collaboration will also support sustainability initiatives, including community development projects in India’s Sundarbans region. These efforts will leverage Envision Racing’s relationships with Envision Energy and EARTHDAY.ORG to advance climate-focused programmes.

In addition, the partners aim to organise sustainability-themed events and expand Envision Racing’s Race Against Climate Change summits. They also plan to produce content highlighting sustainable electric racing by combining Eros Innovation’s AI capabilities with its content creation expertise.

Eros Innovation, co-founder and co-president, Ridhima Lulla said motorsport offers one of the world’s most demanding real-time decision-making environments, making it an ideal testing ground for sovereign AI systems. She added that the company’s ambition extends well beyond racing to building exportable AI infrastructure that can support performance optimisation, energy management, mobility and intelligent national systems, with India identified as a key market.

Envision Racing, chief technology officer and managing director, Sylvain Filippi said the organisation was looking forward to exploring opportunities with Eros Innovation. He said both companies share a common vision around innovation, sustainability and the potential of advanced technologies to deliver impact beyond motorsport and film production.

While the agreement is non-binding, it establishes a framework for future joint initiatives, research collaborations and technology development. As AI and clean mobility increasingly converge, the partnership reflects a growing trend of motorsport technologies finding applications far beyond the racetrack.
