MUMBAI: Cementing its place in branded storytelling, BULLET Microdrama has partnered with JK Super Cement to launch Tera Ghar Mera Ghar, a 53-episode vertical series centred on the emotional highs and lows of building a home.

The series, which premiered on August 21, marks what the companies describe as the first microdrama by an Indian cement brand. The mobile-first format brings JK Super Cement into a fictional story rather than relying on conventional product-led advertising.

Set in Kanpur, Tera Ghar Mera Ghar follows Aman and Asha, a young couple preparing for the arrival of their first child while trying to build their own home.

Featuring Keshav Sadhna, Yogita Bihani and Sumit Arora, the series explores the financial pressures, family relationships, aspirations and everyday challenges that accompany the home-building process.

The brand’s role is woven into the storyline through its natural connection with construction and home building, rather than making the product the central character.

The collaboration comes as BULLET Microdrama, backed by Zee Entertainment Enterprises, looks to expand the role of short-form vertical storytelling across genres and audiences.

BULLET Microdrama co-founder and chief business officer Azim Lalani said the partnership demonstrates how brands can become part of stories rooted in consumer experiences rather than simply seeking visibility.

The series was created with JUJU Films and is designed specifically for mobile-first consumption, with 53 short episodes built around a continuing narrative.

JK Cement group president, sales and marketing, Pushp Raj Singh said the project reflects the company’s view that a home represents more than a physical structure, with the series allowing the brand to explore the aspirations and experiences of people building their homes.

The partnership also forms part of BULLET Microdrama’s broader branded-content strategy, which focuses on finding stories where a brand has a genuine reason to exist within the narrative.

BULLET Microdrama head, AVOD and partnerships, Munaf Merchant said the home-building premise gives JK Super Cement a natural place within a story that audiences can relate to, while allowing the entertainment experience to remain at the centre.

Tera Ghar Mera Ghar is available on BULLET Microdrama and will also be distributed through ZEE5 as well as JK Cement India’s Facebook and YouTube channels.

The project highlights how microdramas are increasingly moving beyond pure entertainment into branded storytelling, with advertisers looking to use short, episodic narratives to build deeper connections with mobile audiences.

For JK Super Cement, the partnership turns a familiar construction category into a more human story, while for BULLET Microdrama it offers another example of how brands can enter the plot without taking over the story.
