MUMBAI: For Marathi entertainment, the stage is set and the stream is on. Prime Video has launched JALLOSH, an add-on subscription from Everest Entertainment, bringing a dedicated catalogue of Marathi films, nataks, original productions and devotional content to viewers in India.

Available to Prime members at an introductory price of Rs 199 for the first year, JALLOSH offers more than 260 Marathi films and 50 iconic nataks, with additional new releases set to be added through the year. The subscription will renew at Rs 399 per year after the introductory period.

The catalogue brings together a mix of established Marathi titles, including Mee Shivajiraje Bhosale Boltoy, Tukaram, Pawankhind, Chandramukhi, Subhedar, Maharashtra Shaheer, Mumbai Pune Mumbai, Moraya and Naach Ga Ghuma, alongside devotional programming and other content.

For Prime Video, the launch adds another regional offering to its growing add-on subscription portfolio. The platform currently has more than 30 add-on subscriptions spanning languages, categories and genres, allowing Prime members to access additional content within the Prime Video ecosystem.

Gaurav Bhasin, Head – AVOD Business and Marketplace, Prime Video India, said the addition of JALLOSH would expand the choice available to Prime members while taking Marathi storytelling to a wider audience.

For Everest Entertainment, the partnership marks a move to bring its Marathi content library under one digital destination. Sanjay Chhabria, Founder, Everest Entertainment and JALLOSH, said the service aims to eventually become a definitive home for Marathi entertainment.

The add-on model also allows subscribers to manage their premium content services through Prime Video rather than juggling separate logins and billing cycles. Users can browse content across subscriptions, receive personalised recommendations and maintain a consolidated watchlist and download library.

With JALLOSH joining the platform, Prime Video is effectively putting Marathi entertainment on a larger streaming stage from iconic theatre to contemporary cinema, all under one digital roof.
