MUMBAI: Devotion has found a new beat, and this one is streaming far beyond the temple bells. The music of Hanuman Ansh is turning into a digital phenomenon, with the album crossing 100 million streams while its track Parvati has also crossed 100 million views on YouTube.

Released and promoted by Junglee Music, a division of Times Music, the soundtrack is gaining traction across audio, video and short-form platforms. Parvati has emerged as the standout track, topping YouTube Music’s Weekly Top Songs chart in India and ranking No. 2 globally, while its music video sits at No. 1 in India and No. 3 worldwide.

The song’s reach is extending beyond conventional music consumption. Parvati has generated more than 1.5 million short-form video creations, with audiences using it for covers, performances, school prayers, devotional gatherings and social media content, giving the track a life well beyond its original film context.

Its growing cultural footprint was also visible at a Bhajan Clubbing event in Delhi attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Singer Sadhu Tiwari performed Parvati at the gathering, while Vishal Chaturvedi performed Hriday Mein Jinke Sitaram and Hanuman Chalisa.

The momentum has not been limited to one song. Maine Tere Hi Bharose, sung by Suneel Lodhi, has also gained significant traction, while other tracks including Jai Hanuman are finding audiences across platforms.

For writer and director Vishal Chaturvedi, the response represents the central idea behind the music: giving distinctive voices a platform and allowing them to connect with listeners without being overly polished or manufactured. He said the songs travelling beyond the film and reaching audiences across countries reflected the potential of raw and authentic talent.

Producer and Co-IP Owner Namrata Singh said the team had confidence in the strength of the music from the outset, but described the scale of the response as unexpected. The soundtrack’s performance has effectively turned the album into a parallel success story alongside the film.

For Tiwari, the singer behind Parvati, the most significant development has been seeing the song become part of everyday life. Its presence in performances, devotional settings and user-generated videos has given it a grassroots dimension that conventional chart numbers alone cannot capture.

The figures underline that shift. Crossing 100 million YouTube views is one milestone, but the additional 1.5 million short-form creations show how listeners are actively participating in the song’s journey rather than simply consuming it.

Mandar Thakur, CEO, Times Music, said the response had taken the music beyond its expected audience, with listeners across generations, regions and different listening habits engaging with the soundtrack.

Junglee Music is continuing to push the album across platforms as the songs gather momentum. The strategy is playing out across streaming services, YouTube and short-form video ecosystems, allowing individual tracks to find different routes into audiences’ playlists, feeds and everyday moments.

The success of Parvati also highlights the changing life cycle of film music. A track can now move from a film to YouTube, from YouTube to short-form video, and from social media into live performances and community settings, creating a feedback loop in which audience participation itself becomes part of the song’s visibility.

For Hanuman Ansh, that loop appears to be gathering pace. With the full album now streaming across major audio platforms and the songs available through the Times Music YouTube channel, the soundtrack is increasingly operating as more than a collection of film tracks, it is building its own cultural footprint, one stream, short video and live performance at a time.
