ACT's Bala Malladi on TRAI tariff order, Jio GigaFiber & pricing war in wired broadband

Earlier this week, Atria Convergence Technologies (ACT) Fibernet, the wired broadband internet service provider (ISP), inked a deal with over-the-top (OTT) platform ZEE5 in order to up the entertainment quotient for its subscribers across segments. Likewise, ACT had earlier also stitched together partnerships with streaming services like Netflix and Hooq.

English News grew in week 15 of Chrome Data Analytics and Media by 0.80 per cent.In this genre, Republic TV gained the highest OTS with 94.2 per cent in six metro areas. As per the Chrome Data, only one genre made gains with all others having lost on OTS.
