Private television channels on Doordarshan's FreeDish whose licences had expired or are due to expire over the next few months got major relief when the Telecom Disputes Settlement and Arbitration Tribunal said they could continue on a pro rata basis until further orders on the basis of the bid with which they had won the slots or the reserve price, whichever is higher. .
