Chrome DM week 16: English movies genre gains highest OTS

MUMBAI: The English movies genre grew in week 16 of Chrome Data Analytics and Media with 25.60 per cent. In this genre, Movies Now gained the highest OTS with 25.4 per cent in six metro areas.

OTS is the actual census-based percentage connectivity of a channel spread across 81 million homes, as reported by Chrome DM, across analogue cable, digital cable, and DTH. 

In week 16, English GECs category garnered the second position in the gainers list with a growth of 15.76 per cent. Colors Infinity bagged the highest OTS with 31.2 per cent in six metros. Business news genre garnered third position and grew by 7.61 per cent. BTVI channel gained the highest OTS with 66.9 per cent in six metro areas.

In the fourth position, Infotainment segment grew by 3.56 per cent, with NGC bagging 77.2 per cent in all India 1 Lakh+ market. English news grew by 2.74 per cent, with Republic TV channel securing 94.3 per cent in six metro areas.
