BARC week 5: Lalithaa Jewellery pips Lizol for top brand spot

NEW DELHI: The Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) of India has released its data for top advertisers and brands for the period between 30 January and 5 February 2021.

The data reflects the top 10 advertisers and brands across genres on India’s television, 2+ Individuals, NCCS. All demonstrating ads that were inserted the most in week five of 2021.

Top Advertisers:

Hindustan Unilever continued to be the biggest advertiser this week also with 226905 insertions.

It was followed by Reckitt Benckiser India, which ranked second with 161633 ad generations.

Ponds India bagged the third rank this time with 36636 ad AMA. Brooke Bond came in fourth with 32166 ad insertions.

P&G and Colgate secured fifth and sixth place with 31783 and 26429 ad views.

Other top brands in the pecking order were as follows: Godrej, ITC, Lakme and Wipro.

Top Brands:

This week Lalithaa Jewellery led the chart with 20506 ad impressions, followed by Lizol with 18035 ad views. Dettol antiseptic liquid secured the third position with 15864 ad insertions.

The fourth and fifth spots were acquired by Moov Gel and WhiteHat Jr with 15074 and 14160 ad AMA respectively.

Glow & Lovely bagged the sixth spot with 11117 ad views.

Other top brands in the pecking order were as follows: Clinic Plus Shampoo, Harpic Bathroom Cleaner, Dettol Toilet Soaps, and Harpic Power Plus.
