MUMBAI: The Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) of India has released its data for top advertisers and brands for the period between 2 January and 8 January 2021.

The data reflects the top 10 advertisers and brands across genres on India’s television, 2+ Individuals, NCCS. All demonstrating ads that were inserted the most in week one of 2021.

Top Advertisers:

Hindustan Unilever continued to be the biggest advertiser this week also with 263482 insertions.

It was followed by Reckitt Benckiser India, which ranked second with 202286 ad generations.

Cadbury India bagged the third rank this time with 37807 ad AMA. Brooke Bond Lipton came in fourth with 37635 ad insertions.

ITC & Ponds India secured fifth and sixth place with 37577 and 37034 ad views respectively.

Other top brands in the pecking order were as follows: P&G, Lakme, Wipro, and Godrej Consumer Products.

Top Brands:

This week Dettol Antiseptic Liquid led the chart with 22297 ad impressions, followed by Lizol with 22107 ad views. Santoor Sandal and Turmeric secured the third position with 19285 ad insertions.

The fourth and fifth spots were acquired by Dettol Toilet Soap and Dettol & Mom Soap with 15267 and 14115 ad AMA.

Dettol Liquid Soap bagged the sixth spot with 13741 ad views.

Other top brands in the pecking order were as follows: Policybazaar.com, Harpic Bathroom Cleaner, Dettol Disinfectant Soap, and Glow & Lovely.
