MUMBAI: StudioCanal has made several key appointments in the London office of the studio’s television business unit.

Beatriz Campos, vice president of sales and Elise Woolfe, sales manager, have joined the company’s sales staff as StudioCanal continues to expand its global television footprint with the acquisitions of production companies, as well as enlarging its catalogue of third party distribution titles.

“Beatriz and Elise are the perfect fit in context of the overall strategy of StudioCanal’s global sales staff,” says StudioCanal president international marketing and distribution for films, library and TV series Rodolphe Buet. “The steady growth of our television business unit has enabled the expansion of the international sales team, reflecting the strong increase of StudioCanal’s premium TV content.”

“We are excited to have Beatriz and Elise join our London sales team,” says StudioCanal executive vice president sales and marketing Katrina Neylon. “Their backgrounds, knowledge and expertise of the international television market are an asset as sales representatives for StudioCanal’s high quality drama worldwide.”

As head of television sales in the Scandinavian and Southern European territories at StudioCanal, Campos brings impressive industry experience. She previously held the position of Sales Director Middle East, Israel and Africa at Endemol Shine International where she was in charge of a wide range of both finished tape and format sales. She brokered the first digital packages in Spain, Italy and the Middle East, which included premium scripted European series. Additionally, Campos worked for over five years on the international sales team at ITV.

Woolfe will be in charge of direct sales covering major Central Eastern Europe territories along with Israel and Benelux. Prior to joining StudioCanal, Woolfe worked at All3Media International where she handled finished program sales of many premium and award-winning scripted titles.

Another recent addition to the London sales team, Sarah Mottershead, senior sales coordinator, is responsible for sales administration processes and non-theatrical sales in all territories except where StudioCanal already operates. She previously was employed by FremantleMedia.

Mirela Nastase, sales manager, formerly based in the company’s Munich office, has relocated to the London office where she will continue her responsibilities covering the Latin American territories. Nastase has been with the company for four years.
