MUMBAI: News18.com, India’s pre-eminent news portal, has launched their first-ever brand campaign, that highlights their motto of offering a comprehensive perspective, that goes beyond the mainstream coverage prevalent in the current media landscape. The new brand campaign reaffirms News18.com's leadership position towards providing extensive and authentic wide-spread news reporting across the length and breadth of the country. Bringing forth the brand’s new proposition - #GetCloserToTheNews, News18.com has always endeavored to become the one-stop news destination for the on-the-go audience.

Conceptualized by Fisheye Creative Solutions Pvt. Ltd, the campaign showcases the experiential realm News18.com's readers are immersed into. Using News18.com's established credentials, this quartet of brand films, that cover politics, cricket, and the army, highlights the network’s exhaustive line of reportage that offers news across 12 languages. The digital news publication stands out with its in-depth coverage and vast on-ground presence that offers the reader a front row seat/bird’s eye view to all that is happening in real time.

With over 3000 reporters spread countrywide, Network18 provides a wide range of news categories to the audience to choose from that include the genres of politics, technology, business, gadgets, sports, auto, lifestyle, world, India, health and fitness, football, cricket, opinion, and entertainment. The brand films showcase the personalized feed of curated news that its readers enjoy. Targeted towards the on-the-go audience, the campaign underlines the distinctive news-viewing experience that is engaging and compelling for them.

Commenting on the campaign, Ranadeep Chakravarty, Head of Marketing, News18.com, said, “In very little time, News18.com has risen to give some serious competition to other legacy publishers in the digital news space. Therefore it’s only fair to make some noise now. With this campaign, our very first, we aim to reinforce the brand’s persona and entice readers to explore a world of immersive journalism. We hope our readers will continue to support our efforts, as we continue to innovate and bring our consumers closer to the news giving them an experience like no other!"

On the launch of the campaign, Orko Basu, Creative Head, Fisheye Creative, said, "In an age where most people are content to simply skim through the headlines (if at all they read any news), we wanted to showcase the thrill of the immersive experience that News18.com offers to readers with its in-depth, on-ground coverage."
