MUMBAI: Zee Café is all geared up to premiere the first TV reboot of Rush Hour. Adapted from the blockbuster action-comedy series with the same name, the series follows the legacy of actor Jackie Chan along with Chris Tucker.

The channel will showcase a 4 hour TV premiere of Rush Hour under its property Along with the US on 22 April at 8 pm. The show will air thereafter once a week every Friday at 8 pm.

First released in 1998, the series sheds light on two crazy cops and their misadventures. The channel gives its viewers a rare chance to experience that madness in a new format and with a completely fresh cast. Much like the film, Rush Hour is a high-stakes, action packed one-hour series featuring the fun buddy-cop equation with fast cracking comedic moment’s audiences crave. Hong Kong police detective Lee, a stoic by the book, lands up in LA and must work on a case with the irreverent and brash detective Carter. The two must learn to work together despite their hilarious differences as they solve a new case in each episode.
