MUMBAI: Chetak Screen Awards just turned the red carpet into a red-hot live event because when cinema’s biggest night goes live across TV and streaming, even the popcorn starts feeling star-struck. Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI) is reviving the culture of live awards on screen with the Chetak Screen Awards 2026, set to broadcast live on Sony Entertainment Television (SET) and stream on Sony LIV on 5 April 2026 at 8:00 PM IST. The ceremony will also be available live on the Screen Awards’ YouTube channel, with a repeat telecast on SET’s YouTube channel on 7 April.

Recognised as one of India’s most credible honours for cinematic excellence, the awards celebrate outstanding performances and creative contributions across Indian filmmaking. This year’s edition promises a star-studded evening hosted by a powerhouse lineup including Alia Bhatt, Farah Khan, Sunil Grover and Zakir Khan, blending cinema, music, comedy and pop culture on one stage.

Sony Pictures Networks India chief content officer Nachiket Pantvaidya said, “At Sony Pictures Networks India, we are delighted to reintroduce the strong culture of LIVE awards back to our screens. This star-studded showcase is designed not just as an awards ceremony but also as a high-impact entertainment property with moments that will keep viewers engaged throughout.”

Indian Express Group executive director Anant Goenka added, “The Chetak Screen Awards 2026 represents the scale at which we want to engage our audiences today. With a strong multi-platform distribution strategy and trusted partners like Sony Pictures Networks India, we are ensuring that this celebration of cinema reaches millions in a meaningful way.”

Adani Airports has come on board as the OOH partner, while The Award Gallery joins as the Trophy Partner.

EPIC Company unifies all brands under single EPIC identity

IN10 Media rebrand aligns TV, digital and films into one ecosystem

MUMBAI: The EPIC Company, formerly known as IN10 Media Network, has announced a sweeping brand consolidation, bringing its television channels, digital platforms and content IPs under a single identity, EPIC.

The move is aimed at simplifying the company’s structure while creating a more connected content ecosystem spanning television, digital and films. By aligning multiple verticals under one umbrella, the company is looking to present a sharper, more cohesive face to both audiences and partners.

As part of the transition, several channels have been rebranded to align with the EPIC identity. EPIC will now operate as EPIC TV, while Nazara becomes EPIC Bharat, Filamchi is now EPIC Bhojpuri, Gubbare transitions to EPIC Kids, and ShowBox is reintroduced as EPIC Music. Ishara will continue under the identity EPIC Parivaar, maintaining its core positioning.

The company has also refreshed EPICON, its streaming platform, to reflect a more unified and modern brand experience. The overhaul is designed to improve content discovery and create a seamless experience across platforms.

This consolidation follows the recent launch of EPIC Studio, a unified production arm that brings together Juggernaut Productions and MovieVerse Studio, as the company expands its footprint across films, OTT and television.

The EPIC Company managing director Aditya Pittie said, “As our scale has grown, it has become important to simplify how we operate and how we present ourselves to the ecosystem. This consolidation gives us a clearer, more future-ready structure to partner, invest, and build at scale, while ensuring that for viewers, the experience is more seamless and intuitive.”
