Sony DADC to screen popular movies at Kala Ghoda Arts Festival

NEW DELHI: ‘Home Entertainment Services by Sony DADC’, one of the leading home entertainment content provider in India in association with the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival 2014 is screening a line-up of critically acclaimed movies from its catalogue as a part of the festival’s movie screening segment.

 

Sony DADC will launch the critics’ favourite and Oscar nominated movie – Captain Phillips on home video in high definition on the Blu-ray format. The movie has been nominated for six Oscars including Best Picture and Barkhad Abdi has been nominated for Best Actor in Supporting Role.

 

Popular animation movies like Smurfs, Arthur Christmas and Hotel Transylvania will be screened at the festival. Nature documentary films to be screened include informative films like Secrets of Wild India, Crimson Wings, African Cats and Chimpanzee. The movies will be showcased as part of The Wild Child screenings which is a special segment for children’s movies at the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival 2014.

 

The Kala Ghoda Arts Festival that witnesses Indian as well as international audiences commenced today and will conclude on 9 February.

The screenings are being held at the Coomaraswamy Hall and the Bombay Natural History Society.
