New Delhi: The Godrej Group has come a long way, ever since it first came into existence 123 years ago. As India marks its seventy second Republic Day on Tuesday, the Indian conglomerate released a video campaign to celebrate its emotional connect and oneness with the country.

The video campaign #GodrejForIndia attempts to capture the transformational journey of the group, which began as a brand of locks, and over the decades, has partnered in India’s transformative growth across multiple areas through various initiatives. It also expresses the group’s gratitude for having been able to contribute to the nation’s growth in its century-old journey.

The film went live on the eve of Republic Day across various social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn. It highlights how the Godrej Group has dedicated itself to India over the decades, from providing Indians security, work-comfort products and furniture to enabling safe, refrigerated distribution of the preventive shield of COVID vaccines across the country. It also speaks of how Godrej has been a part of India’s energy and space missions, and has remained committed to the care of the environment and ecology that would help make the planet green and goodness-filled one.

“We are privileged to be part of our country’s growth journey and getting the opportunity to serve our nation by contributing through our innovative products and solutions. Our campaign attempts to capture our journey, beliefs, values and our efforts to provide many diverse solutions of national interest and importance. It expresses our undying commitment to India and endeavour to keep on transforming into something new to help bring out the best for our nation,” said Tanya Dubash, executive director and chief brand officer, Godrej Group.

Anu Joseph, chief creative officer of Creativeland Asia which conceptualized the film with Godrej India said the film is a reminder of how the group has always been a part of India’s growth narrative. “From propelling space missions to driving farmer ambitions to protecting the nation, the group’s various businesses have constantly aligned themselves to India’s aspirations. Every day, Godrej takes on a new role to answer our ever-changing needs and help our nation grow. And it was this Godrej story that we wanted to share with India on the seventy-second Republic Day,” he said.
