Prashant Panday resigns as ENIL MD, director

This comes into effect on 31 January

Mumbai: Entertainment Network India Ltd. (ENIL) has said that its MD Prashant Panday has requested to be relieved due to other preoccupations. He has tendered his resignation from the position of MD as well as directorship of the company with effect from the close of business hours on 31 January, 2023.

In a notification to the BSE, the company said that it has received confirmation from Panday that there are no other material reasons for his resignation except as mentioned above.

The board of directors has accordingly considered and accepted his resignation. Panday will also cease to hold the office of Key Managerial Personnel with effect from the said date.

The board of directors has placed on record their appreciation for his invaluable contributions to the company and for building Brand Mirchi into a power brand over the last 22 years, and wishes him the best in his future endeavours.

In October 2022, ENIL announced that Panday would be retiring soon. Yatish Mehrishi was appointed CEO.
