MUMBAI: The Himalaya Drug Company, India’s leading homegrown wellness brand, launches ‘Gentle Baby Laundry Wash’ specially formulated for baby clothes. Infused with naturally derived cleansing agents and herbs with antibacterial properties, it effectively helps kill up to 99.9%* of germs.

Parents are often concerned about the harsh chemicals that are present and left behind as residue in regular laundry detergents. With baby’s skin being more sensitive than adults, this residue often causes allergic reactions.

“Himalaya BabyCare believes that a healthy baby is a happy baby. We are focused on bringing the best care for babies through our products that are safe and with the goodness of Ayurveda along with solid scientific research. We are constantly innovating and putting gentle and well-researched products on the shelves to bring to parents the assurance and happiness of choosing a safe and effective product for their little ones,” said Mr. Philipe Haydon, CEO, The Himalaya Drug Company.

“Through our products, we focus on bringing to our customers a trusted solution that is safe on baby’s sensitive skin. Himalaya Gentle Baby Laundry Wash, our latest product, is specially formulated with naturally derived cleansing agents and antibacterial herbal ingredients to help prevent allergic reactions and skin irritations in babies. We hope to continue spreading the promise of Happiness through Wellness with such product innovations,” said Mr. Chakravarthi N V, Business Head, Himalaya BabyCare.

Himalaya BabyCare Gentle Baby Laundry Wash is free from harmful chemicals like Phosphorous, Parabens, SLS/SLES/ALS, Synthetic color, added Bleach, Silicates, and Fluorescent. It is infused with the goodness of natural ingredients like Neem, Soapnut, Lemon, and Geranium. Neem and Lemon are known for their antimicrobial properties, whereas Soapnut helps sanitize clothes and remove stains effectively and Geranium helps eliminate odor.

Himalaya Gentle Baby Laundry Wash doesn’t leave behind any residue and is clinically tested and gentle on baby’s skin.

The product is available in all leading retail outlets and across online stores. It comes in convenient size packs of 500ml bottle and 1L bottle along with refill packs.
