The Kumbh of Literary Festivals, The Jaipur Literature Festival is LIVE yet again this year with it’s larger life Virtual Avatar. Powered by Dreamcasts’s virtual platform, the platform replicated JLF’s iconic Venue, where the festival has been held in the last 13 years.

Dreamcast, one of the earliest ventures and innovators in virtual event platforms in India, is a category leader in the virtual and hybrid events space. Founded in 2010, the company has hosted thousands of virtual and hybrid conferences, exhibitions and trade shows, webinars and webcasts across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, the US and Australia.

The 14th edition of the Jaipur Literature Festival is being held from February 19-28, in a renewed virtual format. The JLF virtual platform brings together an immersive experience by replicating the iconic Festival Venue and is accessible to the audience across the globe with just a few clicks. The festival venue has a virtual bookstore and a reading room with the option to directly purchase books and online merchandise. Dreamcast’s platform also live-streamed the sessions, featuring over 300 speakers on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter. The 2021 JLF virtual edition also offered special access media & press delegates. The press area had a functionality of networking tables to have 1:1 or group meetings with the speakers or a private chat option for personal interviews.

On the success of JLF’s 2021 edition, Gautam Seth & Siddharth Shah, Co-Founders, Dreamcast, said,“We thank the entire team of Teamwork Arts to give us this opportunity to work with them since the last 10 years Its a pleasure and privilege to associate and host world’s largest literature festival on our platform. We all know the pandemic has disrupted the physical state of events and we have had multiple success stories on our larger-than-life virtual experiences for our clients. JLF is one of our biggest accomplishments and success and we certainly want to replicate this experience for the other IPs across the world.”

Every year, JLF is attended by some of the biggest names in the literature and entertainment space. This year, the literature festival has over 300 speakers and performers representing around 25 Indian and 18 international languages and over 23 nationalities. Some of these included American business tycoon and co-founder of Microsoft Corporation Bill Gates; Nobel Laureates Joseph Stiglitz and Malala Yousafzai; Man Booker Prize-winning author Douglas Stuart; journalist and Pulitzer awardee Jeffrey Gettleman, National Film Award-winning actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas, lyricist and CBFC chairman Prasoon Joshi and others.

Siddharth Shah and Gautam Seth, The Jaipur Boys, are first-generation tech entrepreneurs who founded Dreamcast in 2010. Focused on immersive and functional features, Dreamcast has evolved as a full-scale virtual event suite consisting of various products to match your need and price. The company has serviced leading IPs and have actively worked with the leading event & conference organisers. The company has progressively grown year on year and stands out today providing its virtual event suite to match every digital need.
