Blink Digital becomes Metaverse Fashion Week 2023’s first Indian agency participant

Its work will be showcased in living structure - “The Chrysalis”.

Mumbai: Blink Digital, the globally acclaimed independent digital agency, has become India’s first digital agency to be part of the Metaverse Fashion Week 2023. The show will be held from 28 to 31 March 2023, concluding the Spring Fashion season on virtual catwalks. The agency has created a living structure called “The Chrysalis” wherein Blink Digital’s work will be showcased with a chic twist alongside industry leaders like Adidas, Aldo, Coach, Tommy Hilfiger, Vogue Singapore, etc.

MVFW23's curatorial theme is 'Future Heritage,' a challenge to link the next generation of creators and traditional fashion designers, demonstrating fashion's ability to bridge realities and worlds. “The Chrysalis” will showcase Blink’s web3 work, each reimagined as a unique wearable custom-made for MVFW23. The living structure will represent how they, as an agency and design studio, have evolved and look to the future. The structure’s breathing bands begin with rigid angles that represent the past, transitioning to a single circular band representing the present and finally radiating out in waves representing the future. Each NFT wearable represents a successful Web3 campaign that Blink Digital has worked on, for brands such as Amazon x OnePlus, Blenders Pride Glassware Fashion Tour & Pernod Ricard, Yashoda Hospitals, and KFC. The wearables showcase the agency's journey through the Web3 space-time and how each project contributes to the agency's heritage in the Web3 space.

MetaVerse Fashion Week (#MVFW23) will feature over 60 participating brands, artists, and designers showcasing their latest collections in the virtual world of Decentraland. This event is a milestone in the global fashion industry, bringing together both legacy luxury fashion and digital-native brands.
