MUMBAI: With over two decades of redefining the attitude towards of sports & street culture in India, adidas celebrates the 21-year milestone in Mumbai with matching up with the relentless   spirit of the city. Mumbai being the priority city represents many significant milestones for adidas in India and continues to elevate its presence of being an ideal intersection point for sports, fitness and culture enthusiasts.

Mumbai marks a very special advent for adidas that includes landmark store openings, events & global visitors making their debut visit to India. In all of this, Linking Road address has occupied the pride of place, being the much preferred address for creative sets, fashion destination & sports hub. Chronicling the journey of the leading sports brand in the city which never sleeps, adidas added zeal and fervour to Mumbai’s ever throbbing social  landscape by giving some of the finest and much coveted landmark events - :

The year 1998, the year that adidas opened its first store in Mumbai’s Linking Road
adidas Originals roped in Ranveer Singh to represent the brand in India in September 2015 to join the elite creators club of global icons
The association with Stan Smith has been one of the most valued and extraordinary relationships for adidas! It became ever so special when this Tennis star visited the Linking Road store on his first ever visit to India! 
The Run for the Ocean cause in 2018 attracted over 3000 runners as they united and cleaned about 126 tonnes of plastic waste!

The 21 year milestone witnessed a two-day celebration in the Linking Road store with an exclusive curation of capturing the essence of Mumbai and its relationship with the three stripes. An interesting photography showcase and a talk by independent filmmaker Reema Sengupta concluded day one. Day two was all about uniting the sneakerheads of Mumbai to celebrate the brand love.
