Air Supply 'For Lovers Only-2004' concert to debut in India in November

MUMBAI: ESP ltd has announced the Indian leg of the 10 country international Air Supply tour.

A Indian events and promotions company ESP will be organising the legendary soft rock group Air Supply's debut Indian concert that is a part of their For Lovers Only- 2004 tour in India. The ten nation tour comprises countries like the UK, Ireland, the US, Spain, China and Mexico, besides India.

The Indian leg of the tour will kick off with the capital on 4 November followed by concerts in Mumbai and Bangalore.

Air supply has won several prestigious international awards including four Billboard Music Awards, Best Pop Rock Group in the American Music Awards, Australian Rock Award, four multi-platinum albums and several international chart toppers, informs an ESP release.

In a bid to popularise the concert, the event management company will be organising a plethora of contest and promotions. The Indian fans will get a chance to meet up with the legends Graham Russell and Russell Hitchcock, the charismatic duo of Air Supply.

Says ESP (India) pvt LTD director Vineet Pathania, "Music is the glue that binds people irrespective of their nationality, race and religion. India is increasingly gaining the reputation of being a key market for international music. It's truly a matter of pride for us to play a role in this revolution by exposing our country to world class entertainment."

The release informs that this concert is a pre cursor to a series of concerts that would bring some of the most popular artists to the country over the coming years.
