In Q1-2016, though RIL has reported a 23 per cent y-o-y consolidated revenue drop, Reliance Retail posted a 17.5 per cent revenue growth in the same period at Rs 4968 crore.
It reported a consolidated loss of Rs 5.96 crore in the current quarter as compared to the massive onetime adjustment loss of Rs 1156.50 crore after the Mukesh Ambani led Reliance Industries Limited took over the company.
The decision has been taken to bring down the aggregate shareholding of the promoter and promoter group to 75 per cent and increase the public shareholding to 25 per cent.
The duo have decided to not renew the 10 year long deal, after it expires in January 2016.
The first match will be played in Chennai and the second season will feature 61 matches.
