Parliament was told on 23 July by Department of Space Minister in charge Jitendra Singh that the new guideline envisages a rational classification structure for users.
It has launched 40 satellites of 19 foreign countries on commercial basis under contract between respective foreign customers and Antrix.
The launches are expected to augment the communication facilities including the Ku-band and Upper Extended C-band.
