MUMBAI: Riding on the digital wave in the country, Rajya Sabha TV’s YouTube channel has crossed over 25 lakh subscriber base. Vice president of India M Venkaiah Naidu praised its top editorial and technical team as well as employees for the achievement.

Back in 2017, Rajya Sabha TV’s YouTube channel was standing only at around 4 lakh which is now far ahead of other major channels. “I am happy that RSTV, since my taking over in August 2017 has been making rapid strides in terms of the appeal of its content & viewership,” Naidu commented.

Rajya Sabha TV is owned and operated by the upper house of Indian Parliament. Apart from telecasting live coverage of Rajya Sabha proceedings, the channel also brings incisive analysis of parliamentary affairs. While focusing on current national and international affairs, it provides a platform for knowledge-based programmes for the discerning viewer.
