KOLKATA: Rajneel Kumar and Jay Pandya, two senior executives at Zee5, have put down their papers.  

Kumar joined Zee5 in 2018 as head - expansion projects & head of products, and was entrusted with expanding the consumer offering to increase users and revenue by building new business verticals. Prior to that, Kumar worked with industry leaders including Viacom18 Media, Balaji Telefilms, and Mobile2Win. Now, he is joining Genomedia Studios team to help build an Arabic OTT service.

"An amazing journey comes to an end at #Zee5. From reaching 85 million MAU to building truly India's first super app. We did it all! Dedicated News product built on AI, Hyper casual gaming platform #Play5, Hyper Short-form Video Platform #Hipi," Kumar said in a LinkedIn post.

Zee5 content acquisition and partnership head Jay Pandya has also moved on. “I have decided to move on from Zee5. It has been an absolutely fantastic journey of five plus years and would like to express my deepest gratitude towards the entire ZeeL management to provide me the opportunity and growth,” he wrote on his LinkedIn page.

Pandya joined the platform in 2015 after his stint at TAM Media Research and was working as client acquisitions director.
