KOLKATA: With everything going digital in 2020 combined with the lockdown in most countries, going to the Masjid was tough. Shemaroo came up with a solution for that – the Ibaadat app. After its immense success, the Islamic offering app has been revamped; the new updated version of the Ibaadat app caters to the primary needs of consumers.

The entire app has been redesigned keeping in mind the day-to-day religious journey of an Islamic follower, ensuring easy access, and overall, 360-degree experience of relevant information and content.

The app now aids a seamless connection with the almighty at the touch of a button, and comes with dedicated tabs of the Holy teachings of the Quran in different languages, which makes the process personal and customised for different users. Furthermore, Quran sharif is available in video and audio formats which is further filtered by Chapters and Surahs. Users can access the Quran in Arabic, Hindi and Urdu. In fact, language-based accessibility has been one key focus of the new version of the app. The offering has been made available across five languages – Hindi, Arabic, Urdu, English, and Bangla as language should be no hindrance while feeling at one with the almighty.

The app is also full of utilities in terms of a mosque locator, Halal locator, community, Qibla compass etc. It comes with various e-books along with the Quran text, which further aids in providing religious insights and learnings. The Community section on the app makes it unique as different users can connect with each other and be in harmony of good thoughts. The communal feeling of unity one gets when they pray together can be experienced through this key section of the app.

The bedrock of Shemaroo Ibaadat app has been its unparalleled depth of offerings ranging from Live Makkah, Azan timings to Sura, Naath and various other categories and the ease of accessibility for them. The varied and diversified offerings of the app has made it a one stop solution for all Islamic followers. The app has more than 35,000 minutes of content- 750+ videos and 1100+ audio content available. It is a unique combination of utilities, content, e-commerce and information which makes this a holistic app that acts as a guide for its users and takes them through the various walks of life with ease.
