'Conversation' ends for Michael Eisner on CNBC

MUMBAI: Former Disney CEO Michael Eisner has decided to call it a day on CNBC?s Conversations With Michael Eisner.

The show has been airing once a month since March 2006. It was heavily promoted but never gained high ratings, averaging about 100,000 viewers per episode.

Eisner apparently, is planning to concentrate full-time on his investing business. "My obligations to the Tornante Co have made it difficult to put the kind of time into the show that‘s necessary, so I‘ve decided not to continue with it past the March airing," Eisner told the New York Post.

Eisner also wants to devote his time to producing programs, such as the web series Prom Queen and the animated show Glenn Martin DDS for Nickelodeon.

Though Eisner won‘t tape any more new episodes, there are enough in the can for CNBC to squeeze another three or four months‘ worth of episodes out of the series, the report said.
