Jio PAT at Rs 891 cr; FTTH beta trails encouraging
Mukesh Dhirubhai Ambani's largest startup company in the world - Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited (Jio) reported 6.1 percent growth in standalone profit after taxes (PAT) at Rs 891 crore for the quarter ended 30 June 2019 (Q1 2020, quarter or period under review) as compared to the Rs 840 crore in the immediate trailing quarter (q-o-q) or Q4 2019.

Broadband subs growth still sluggish in May 2019
India's broadband subscribers growth has slowed down over the past few months according to data released by Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI). For the first time in 17 months, two consecutive months saw subscribers grow less than 1 crore (10 million, 100 lakh) per month.
