TRAI directs Dish TV to comply with provisions of new tariff order
The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has issued a fresh directive to another DTH operator, Dish TV, to ensure compliance with its new tariff order. TRAI says that Dish TV is forcefully offering a bouquet of free to air (FTA) channels and not giving consumers any choice.

Sony Yay increases movie bank with 100 hours of fresh content
Having completed two years now in the kids' segment, Sony Yay claims that it has managed to double its business in terms of engagement, content, language feeds and among others. During launch, it offered 95 hours of localised content but this summer the channel, with a bank of over 300 hours of content, will be giving a double fun-dose as it readies itself to release over 100 hours of fresh content this year.

Chrome DM week 16: English movies genre gains highest OTS
The English movies genre grew in week 15 of Chrome Data Analytics and Media with 25.60 per cent. In this genre, Movies Now gained the highest OTS with 25.4 per cent in six metro areas. OTS is the actual census-based percentage connectivity of a channel spread across 81 million homes, as reported by Chrome DM, across analogue cable, digital cable, and DTH.

APOS 2019: ZEE5 Global unveils content in 5 international languages
The OTT arm of Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd (ZEEL) ZEE5 took a giant leap forward to become the first-ever OTT platform to offer Indian content customised for mainstream audiences across markets-at such a large scale. ZEE5 Global announced that it will offer its content now in 17 languages, with the addition of five international languages Malay, Thai, Bahasa, German and Russian, with more languages to come in time.
