Pleased with India progress, says Netflix's Reed Hastings |
Netflix CEO Reed Hastings today announced that he was pleased with the progress his streaming powerhouse was making in India. Speaking to Sanford C Bernstein senior research analyst Todd Michael Juenger during a Q4 2017 earnings interview, Hastings said, "We are very pleased with the progress that we're making in India, throughout Southeast Asia and Japan.

WEF, Reliance join hands for digital excellence centre |
In what could give a major fillip to PM Modi's Digital India dream, which also envisages making available broadband and related services to over 60,000 village administrations, the World Economic Forum has announced a new digital technology centre in Mumbai that would be executed by the Indian government and Reliance Industries Ltd (Reliance) jointly.
